These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Cloud Bible mobile application, related services, and related website pages. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data.
Shinefort Ltd ("we", "our", or "us") is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17081874), with our registered office at 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NE.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Cloud Bible. If you use the Service on behalf of a business or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind it to these Terms.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal or internal purposes in accordance with these Terms. Shinefort and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all intellectual property rights. Bible text is used under the terms of its respective public-domain status or license, described in the app's Credits screen.

You retain ownership of the highlights, notes and other content you create in Cloud Bible. If you enable account sync, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and display that content as needed to provide the sync feature and support you — nothing more. We do not read, analyse, or share the content of your notes.
You are responsible for your content and for ensuring you have the rights to use and share it.
An account is entirely optional, and nothing behind the subscription depends on being signed in. If you create an account or enable sync, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Please notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
Cloud Bible's reader — every translation, every typeface, light, sepia and dark pages — is free with no account required. Highlighting, underlining, writing a new note, and scanning your paper Bible require Cloud Bible+, offered as a monthly subscription, an annual subscription (which may include a free trial for eligible new subscribers), or a one-off Lifetime purchase.
Subscriptions and Lifetime purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and their terms and payment policies apply. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of any free trial period. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription. We do not receive your full payment card details. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. Refunds are handled according to the applicable app store's refund policy.
Lifetime purchase. A Lifetime purchase is a single, one-off payment for permanent access to the features it covers, for as long as Cloud Bible is available — it is not a promise that the app or the company will exist forever, and it does not transfer to a different app if Cloud Bible is ever replaced by one. It is a non-consumable purchase and, where offered, is eligible for Family Sharing under Apple's or Google's own rules.
The Service may include links to or integrations with third-party services. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or practices.
If you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them without compensation or obligation to you.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your requirements, and we do not warrant that scanning will find every mark on a page or find them without error — you are asked to review every result before it is applied. Cloud Bible provides general Bible study and reading support and does not provide legal, medical, or therapeutic advice.
Content in Cloud Bible is for Bible study and personal reflection only. It is not official doctrinal guidance and should not be treated as legal, pastoral, medical, or therapeutic authority.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shinefort will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose, or GBP 100, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for foreseeable loss and damage caused by us. We are not responsible for losses that are not foreseeable.
If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you agree to indemnify and hold Shinefort harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a security or legal risk. You may stop using the Service at any time.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except that if you are a consumer you may bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence.
